So it snowed and it snowed and it snowed....up in Eager of course- while it rained and rained and rained down here. So we knew it was time to pay the White Mountains a little visit! We went up on New Year's Eve for some serious partying at the cabin! And partying it was....at 9:00 pm.... & then we all went to bed!
But really, we had so much fun. We went up with Mom & Dad Slade, Callie & kids and Elise. Oakley & Carter played non-stop, as well as Olivia and Luke. We found a perfect little hill to sled on...and as you can tell by this picture, there wasn't that much snow left where we went, but if was all we needed! The kids had so much fun and wanted to go all day. We made snow angels & Livi loved eating the snow!
I finally got a chance to read the Twilight series books & had my nose buried for 4 days straight! (2 books in 4 days...they are so good!) Then I read the 3rd one when I came home. I am an Edward fan...just so you know...apparently you are either for Edward or Jacob!
Anyway....so it was really such a fun and relaxing trip (except my nights with Jackson)....but still worth it!

Looks like fun!! My kids still have never seen snow...sad!! By the way, I'm totally an Edward fan, too. Jacob just makes me mad. :)
What cute pics. Funny you were in Eager for New Year's-- we were in Alpine then, too. :)
It's great when you can give your kids that range of experience as children, to go sledding in the snow and then go to the beach a few months later. I am, forever, a Jacob fan. I like him better than Belle! She was annoying in the third book.
